There is a new notion of equality in America and, perhaps, the rest of the world. What was once a concept of liberation and freedom has transformed into a science of diversion. We once believed that we would be free once we were left to our own accord, to be whatever one pleased, regardless of our goals or our roots. Today, that theory is dying. A new seed of though has been planted and it’s roots as quickly taking a hold in our garden of freedom, plundering our soil for every last intellectual nutrient. 

This form of equality is tyrannical for it supposes that we must not provide an open playing field but instead we must give everyone a single path to walk down, controlling their destination and, with it, their outcome. 

For now, the virus has only infected our financial and social limbs. We have elected a government who is seeking out financial enslavement so that they can “equally” and “fairly” redistribute the spoils of our individual accomplishments. Our social policies ripple from the same stone of supposed equality. We want to construct invisible walls of equality and conform people into molds of social fairness. We want to limit free speech and eliminate contradicting thought. We don’t want people to be judged for who they are, we want them to be judged as who they should be.  

If equality only exists in a state of guaranteed equal results than we should strive to improve and perfect medical science so that one day we will finally be able to take life from those that can live long and give it to those that will die young to ensure that we all live no more and no less than our fellow man.

It would be the only “fair” thing left to do, wouldn’t it?
