U.S. military intelligence analysts are still not sure if the Iranian pilots simply were unable to hit the drone due to lack of combat skill, or whether they deliberately were missing and had no intention of bringing down the drone. But as one of the officials said, “it doesn’t matter, they fired on us.”

Here come the drums of war.

As a lot of the reblogs have mentioned, this may be used as a reason to go to war. So far the Pentagon’s official response has been very noncommittal but definitely leave an invasion on the table: “We have a wide range of options from diplomatic to military.” They’re also maintaining that it was four miles outside of Iranian airspace, which is interesting.

I’ll post another update if I learn more.

We all knew it was just a matter of time. Election cycle had to finish first. Didn’t matter who won. We have been on the brink for 24 months and we’ve been trying to invade Iran for about 10+ years.
