As if the People’s Republic of California didn’t have the most intrusive and fascist state government in the union already (Sorry, New York)… we also have mandatory smog check stations. I had no idea about this but it looks like it’s existed since at least 2009. As mind baffling as it sounds, this is a real thing. Government agents pull cars over, like a DUI check point, and force you to waste your time and conduct a roadside smog check. My favorite part about this is that in order to conduct such a check, the agent has to enter your vehicle, with no warrant or probable cause.  Good job, California.

What your car will function like in the future. QNX might be BlackBerry’s one and only savior. 

I’ve been waiting forever for the BB10 to finally come out and I’ve all but given up hope. I still have a BlackBerry Bold but I’m starting to lose hope. I’ve already ordered a Samsung Note II for my company phone and I’m considering ditching the personal BB for something else. 

Either way, the QNX operating system can be a game changer, not just for RIM/BlackBerry but for all technology.

A 500 acre property that has both woodlands and mountains that I can camp, fish, hunt on. (simple, right?) 2. An IWC watch.  3. A classic Aston Martin.
