The average Egyptian is not the ancient Egyptian . Ignorance is bliss!!!
The Egyptians were as black as the Romans were white. Ancient Egyptian civilization, culture, political structure, and religion all have roots in the areas of the Fertile Crescent, which were an Arab area. It was primarily through early Arab Imperialism that most of Northern Africa is Arabic today.
^ This. Let us not forget that some of the Pharaohs during the THREE THOUSAND YEAR dynastic structure were actually Nubians from upstream of the Nile in what is now Ethiopia. Not to mention that, as an empire, Egypt featured a variety of complexions, as most imperial powers tend to do once they begin mixing cultures through conquest and influence.
Some rulers were purported to be fair skinned, redheads, still others were “golden” and others still were, as I mentioned, jet-black Nubians. There is no one-true-face of Egypt any more than there is one-true-face of of a multiethnic society.
Also important to note that many Queens or Pharaohs came from the Middle East or Caucus regions as tribes or sects of people would inter-marry as to “keep the peace” among different empires.
For example, it is believed that Nefertiti is of Armenian decent. She was of the Mitanni tribe, the origin of the Armenian people.

Does anyone else realize how incredible of a time we are living in?
Practically the entire planet, every corner and certainly every civilized continent is a midst protect, culture change, revolution and questioning. Questioning our existence, questioning our actions, questioning authority and questioning our destiny.
Yet, it seems as if no one is appreciating the beauty of the chaos we live in. We are seeing a time of civil unrest and conscious awakening that’s greater than the revolutionary era of 1776 to 1799 that saw both the American Revolution and the French Revolution.
The last few years has brought us the Arab Spring, the global Occupy movement, Wikileaks, the dissent and move to third and even fourth parties both here in America and abroad. We are seeing the weakening of political unions and the strengthening of localized, accessible government and even the promotion of self governance. The rise of Voluntaryism. The belief that voluntary interaction is not only better, but best.
The entire world is changing, at once. There is a global alignment of thought without coercion.
This isn’t the new world order that conspiracy theorists have feared for decades, this is the new world order that humanity has desperately seeking for millennia.
Imperium: The Crisis of Being details the cyclical nature of human history, and the rise and fall of all civilizations and cultures.
Here are some key points which are evidenced by brief glimpses into world history, ranging from ancient China to ancient Egypt:

It is a cyclical process and as more people move to urban centers, they become disconnected from the cultural tradition of the countryside. All knowledge once focused inward is instead turned outward: cultural critique, deconstruction of ‘social norms’ and appeals to the impractical “ideal.”
Expansion will always occur until it exhausts all avenues and the Civilization collapses upon itself. “World Wars” are categorized by a utilization of technology and mass (in numbers) without hesitation or regard for the human consequences. Leaders become increasingly populist and use plebeian words to appeal to the now-displaced poor and lower classes in the cities; “greater good,” “the working man,” etc.

Everything has a life-cycle, including corporations and cultures. To think anything will last forever is foolish.
How can you read this excerpt, realize the scientific relations in the quote and not be blown away by the tremendous knowledge the Egyptians had thousands of years ago.

Ancient artwork seriously blows my mind. Where do they find their inspiration!?
That’s not just art, it’s history and language you’re looking at. Egyptians were big fans of tracking their history through pictures and scenes and putting these moments of history on the walls of their buildings.
I bet if the Egyptian Empire still existed, they’d make a million youtube videos a day and have them play on loop on flat screens plastered all over their walls.
