Gun ‘Control’? Control is a myth. What we really need is gun safety and that doesn’t come through legislation. If you truly want gun safety, teach your kids how to properly handle and respect a gun at a young age. Go to the range, practice and, most importantly, always respect the power of the gun.
If you don’t care for actual gun safety, bypass Congress like a dictator, create a bunch of laws to suppress lawful ownership of guns all while working with the DOJ, CIA and groups that you yourself deem as “terrorists” in illegally trafficking “military style” guns all around the world.
If you’ve done the former, you are an upstanding citizen and a responsible member of society. Do the latter and you are the President of the United States of America.

For people who don’t think Obama might (I’m not saying he WILL, but there are strong implications) try to take them away, please explain the following:
1. Backing the Trayvon Martin case b cherry-picking it out of the hundreds of murders that happen. Why would someone pick this case and attack the “Stand your ground” and “castle doctrine” laws?
2. Fast & Furious - The Obama Administration and Eric Holder intentionally selling guns and then trying to let it come around so they can blame those same guns for violence. Why would someone perpetrate this false flag event?
3. Picking Eric Holder at the AG. Or for any office in Obama’s administration. Go youtube videos of Eric Holder on gun control. The guy literally says that they need to brainwash Americans about guns and convince them that they are bad so they can take them away.
4. Explain why the Department of Homeland security just bought 400 million rounds of hollow point ammo. Why would the Department responsible for affairs WITHIN our boarder need more ammo then there are American citizens?
5. Explain the 2,000 plus armored vehicles that the Department of Homeland Security just ordered. 2,000 tanks. Labels as Police/Rescue. 2,000 of them. Who are they rescuing? Who are they policing? This goes hand in hand with the ammo they just bought. What’s the purpose? Are there that many illegal immigrants at our boarders? (Actually, stats show that some ethnicities are LEAVING this country.)
6. Why did they just approve and order 30,000 unmanned drones to patrol and fly over THE USA! Who are they monitoring? How long until they are armed? What’s the reason for this?
7. Why is the NSA building the world’s largest spy hub in Utah for the sole purpose of monitoring USA CITIZENS? Don’t they have other people to watch? What are they afraid of? Revolution? Porn? Google+ Hangouts?
8. Now piece this all together with the renewal of the PATRIOT Act, the NDAA, CISPA and the revision of the National Defense Resources Preparedness. Why are they declaring the USA a war zone (NDAA)? Why are they giving themselves the ability to indefinitely detain and/or assassinate US citizens without due process (NDAA)? WHy are they trying to access all of our private online data (CISPA)? Why do they keep Gitmo going? Why does the POTUS want the ability to control ALL US resources, including your home and your cars, during peace time (Obama’s admin changed it from war time)?
So, to recap. I’m not saying that Obama will or is trying to take away our guns. I’m just saying that there’s a lot of scary evidence out there. There’s an entire trail of actions that point in one single direction, and while I HOPE that we don’t get to that final destination, I still recognize what road we’re on and where the last stop is. I’d rather be cautious and prepared then get blindsided and be played for a fool.
That’s what the founding fathers wanted for us. That’s why our 1st Amendment is the freedom from gov’t suppressing out free speech and the very next amendment is our right to bear arms in order to protect our 1st Amendment and act as the 4th and most important check and balance in our great republic. You see, this is a a government of the people by the people and for the people and when government intervenes to the point that our basic rights, laid out in the Constitution, are trampled by the very people we elected to serve us, we need to take a stand and practice our right to replace that government with one that will do us right and will obey the limitations of government expressed by our founding fathers in the Constitution.
So ask again why we buy guns and stay prepared. It’s not because we want to or because we’re forced to or turn to armaments by outside influences. No. We stay armed because we have to, it’s our duty to ensure that the republic endures all tyranny, especially that which comes from within.
Obama Attorney General Eric Holder Defends Execution Without Charges
Via Glenn Greenwald of Salon.com: “In a speech at Northwestern University yesterday, Attorney General Eric Holder provided the most detailed explanation yet for why the Obama administration believes it has the authority to secretly target U.S. citizens for execution by the CIA without even charging them with a crime, notifying them of the accusations, or affording them an opportunity to respond, instead condemning them to death without a shred of transparency or judicial oversight. The administration continues to conceal the legal memorandum it obtained to justify these killings, and, as The New York Times’ Charlie Savage noted, Holder’s “speech contained no footnotes or specific legal citations, and it fell far short of the level of detail contained in the Office of Legal Counsel memo…”

How anyone can defend Obama just shows me that Americans will put up with the lesser of two evils and stay complacent with upholding the two-party corporatist and militarist duopoly, that prevents a true democratic and environmentally, economically, and politically just party from restructuring our society to be more just and sustainable that actually stands for justice for all.
Obama is worse than Bush on these civil rights abuses - and has gone far beyond what even Bush would have done. Bush didn’t claim the right to assassinate American citizens and hold them indefinitely. Obama explicitly asked for that power, and now he got it with the NDAA.
Yet, Americans will just vote for Obama because they do not have the political will to right these wrongs. I will never understand how people can be so complacent with serious political abuses going on, the shriveling of our civil liberties and the greatest economic disparity since the 1920s. There have been many frauds of historic proportions — for example, the financial pyramid scheme for which Charles Ponzi was sent to prison in the 1920s, and for which Franklin D. Roosevelt was praised in the 1930s, when he called it Social Security. In our own times, Bernie Madoff’s hoax has made headlines.
But the biggest hoax of the past two generations is still going strong — namely, the hoax that statistical differences in outcomes for different groups are due to the way other people treat those groups.
The latest example of this hoax is the joint crusade of the Department of Education and the Department of Justice against schools that discipline black males more often than other students. According to Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, this disparity in punishment violates the “promise” of “equity.”
Just who made this promise remains unclear, and why equity should mean equal outcomes despite differences in behavior is even more unclear. This crusade by Attorney General Eric Holder and Secretary of Education Arne Duncan is only the latest in a long line of fraudulent arguments based on statistics.
If black males get punished more often than Asian American females, does that mean that it is somebody else’s fault? That it is impossible that black males are behaving differently from Asian American females? Nobody in his right mind believes that. But that is the unspoken premise, without which the punishment statistics prove nothing about “equity.”
What is the purpose or effect of this whole exercise by the Department of Education and the Department of Justice? To help black students or to secure the black vote in an election year by seeming to be coming to the rescue of blacks from white oppression?
Among the many serious problems of ghetto schools is the legal difficulty of getting rid of disruptive hoodlums, a mere handful of whom can be enough to destroy the education of a far larger number of other black students — and with it destroy their chances for a better life.
Judges have already imposed too many legalistic procedures on schools that are more appropriate for a courtroom. “Due process” rules that are essential for courts can readily become “undue process” in a school setting, when letting clowns and thugs run amok, while legalistic procedures to suspend or expel them drag on. It is a formula for educational and social disaster.
Now Secretary Duncan and Attorney General Holder want to play the race card in an election year, at the expense of the education of black students. Make no mistake about it, the black students who go to school to get an education are the main victims of the classroom disrupters whom Duncan and Holder are trying to protect.
What they are more fundamentally trying to protect are the black votes which are essential for Democrats. For that, blacks must be constantly depicted as under siege from whites, so that Democrats can be seen as their rescuers.
Promoting paranoia translates into votes. It is a very cynical political game, despite all the lofty rhetoric used to disguise it.
Whether the current generation of black students get a decent education is infinitely more important than whether the current generation of Democratic politicians hang on to their jobs.
Too many of the intelligentsia — both black and white — jump on the statistical bandwagon, and see statistical differences as proof of maltreatment, not only in schools but in jobs, in mortgage lending and in many other things.
Some act as if their role is to protect the image of blacks by blaming their problems on whites. But the truth is far more important than racial image.
Wherever we want to go, we can only get there from where we are. Not where we think we are, or wish we are, or where we want others to think we are, but where we are in fact right now.
But political spin and pious euphemisms don’t tell us where we are. After a while, such rhetorical exercises don’t even fool others.
If we don’t have the truth, we don’t have anything to start with and build on. A big start toward the truth would be getting rid of the kinds of statistical hoaxes being promoted by Secretary of Education Duncan and Attorney General Holder.
