I love that this has become an ever more standardized point of view, in what feels like a virtually overnight shift. Women in the military have been fighting for this kind of recognition long and hard on many levels for a long time: in the media, in the court system, in their private lives. It has felt like a bit of a whirlwind, though, seeing the discussions I’ve had with other like-minded supporters of combat equality become more and more widely accepted and the cadre of those who argue that women are too weak and distracting to be in combat become pushed further towards the realm of people of the likes of Tucker Carlson. (Tucker Carlson, by the way, likes to give out free advice to feminists on Twitter. Thanks for your input, Tuck.)

SS: I find it sort of ironic and even hilarious that you spend forever and a day talking about all the negative aspects of war and practically begging for all war to come to an end and then all of a sudden, you are celebrating the fact that more people are now “allowed” to serve and possibly die in wars. 

Congratulations, women, you’re now allowed to donate your lives to secure our broken system of perpetual debt and war.

Perhaps, the more logical and sane goal we should have is to prevent all humans, men and women, from serving in combat. That would be the only “progressive” outcome from this entire situation.

My 11 years old brother is a feminist.

At the age when little boys start trying to understand girls and start accommodating to these weird mystical creatures’s presence, my brother is already a feminist. 

Want to know why ? The answer is quite simple my friend.
During several months, I have sexually harassed my brother.
Whenever he was walking up or down the stairs, I would grab his ass or just spank it (lightly… or not). Whenever I saw him, I would do very mature comments like “heey sexy boy” or “damn guurl lookin’ hot”. Whenever he would bend to take something I would go, well like this behind him (without the BJ part) : 

Well, of course at first it was just a joke, and after some time he even stopped carrying at all, but since I kept on doing this, it started pissing him off more and more because : Yes, I was acting out of pure misandry.
Misandry ? Understand it like misogyny but for women towards men.
With the time, my brother came to the realization that what I was doing to him was wrong. I taught him during these months, how it’s not okay to do that to anyone, man or woman, and showed him why this kind of behaviour is degrading for the victim. 

And now, he told me today he sees himself as a feminist. For him “what is not okay for a man, shouldn’t be okay for a woman”.
Ladies, you’ll never see him be nothing but a gentleman.
