Semi-productive day today.  Glendale is banning all gun shows so the wife and I went down to show some support and buy some stuff.  I couldn’t find the .308 lower for a build and the Sig556s that I found were way to expensive, so I came away empty handed.  But wifey finally found her new PDW/CC weapon. It took her about a year and she sampled about a dozen compact and sub-compacts but she finally settled on the Ruger SR-40.  I actually like the gun, felt nice and stable but the polymer frame makes it easy to handle, especially for a women who’d have a small child with her most of the time.  I’m excited to throw some night sights and light on the puppy for her and get her out to the range.  *The gun pictured here is not ours. Will get some pics up when she picks up the gun.
