I don’t trust anyone that knows exactly what’s going on in Washington D.C. and still isn’t an anarchist.

And people wonder why I’m an anarchist. You can never trust people who strive to achieve such tremendous power.

“Everything’s On Fire: The Story of My Life”

Just finished work for the day… at 2:05 am…

I haven’t been posting much here or anywhere and that’s because I’ve been working like a mule.  I’ve been putting in 50 to 60 hours a week for a few months now but this last week has spiked up to 80 hours…

“You can’t expect a kid to change if all you do is just tell him.”

“You can’t just give a kid a packet and expect him to learn.”

Students should stand up and walk out of classrooms more often. I used to do it all the time. Learned more from that then I did sitting in some bullshit class.

I wanted to reblog this and add a personal story.

I’ve walked out of a few classes in my life. Specifically, Ms. Martinez’s in Jr. High, when she made me stuff paper in my mouth to shut me up because I told her she didn’t know shit about US history. I also walked out of that dumb fuck AP Stats teacher’s class at GHHS. I don’t even remember his name and I don’t remember my reason but I knew I was wasting my time. All this and I went to one of the best high schools in the state, can’t imagine what it’s like in the ghettos.

We have some really worthless teachers in the system that give a bad name to all the great ones. But these people are like a virus. They leech into the minds of students and they infect their behavior and ruin them for a semester or even a lifetime, rendering them useless and unteachable for the rest of their colleagues.

More kids should do this. All kids should do this. Our public education system is a joke and some teachers don’t care. Unions don’t care. Politicians don’t care. Parents don’t care and because they don’t know any better, most students don’t care. Tragic.

Wonder if they think they are in womb again

babies can swim, yet my grown non-swimming ass just wades in the water

is this cgi?

if it isnt, this is kinda scary

nope, that’s real. babies are born knowing “how” to swim. it’s like any other skill if not used frequently, you lose it.

This is scary, though. I mean, when you’re in the womb, you’re breathing through your umbilical cord, aren’t you? And one of the reasons babies cry at birth is the shock of breathing through their noses and mouths for the first time (correct me if I’m wrong).

But it explains why infants are naturally-inclined toward water. I wish my mom had known that. She can’t swim.

ahhhh look at the little one on the top left wiggling their little legs like a merperson! My ovaries cannot even

Am I the only one who thinks of Nirvana when they see this?

^^ Thank you!

Aha my first thought as well

^ YES

Babies automatically know to hold their breath under water too

Elaine Morgan says we evolved from aquatic apes

True story: I learned how to swim at 5 months old, when my uncle tossed me into the pool.

My sister learned at 3 months old.

I just sold off some bitcoin and I’m trying really hard not to spend my profits on an EOTech sight. REALLY HARD.

One of our robotics engineers, who worked for the Department of Defense, tapes over all of his phone and laptop cameras. “Can’t trust ‘em”, he says.

This is pretty funny at first and pretty terrifying once you think about it.
