I guess the best way to stop Syrians from killing other Syrians is to spend whatever money we have left on killing the rest of the Syrians for them. Brilliant plan, really. Obama might win his second Nobel Peace Prize!
This Saddam Hussein guy sounds real dangerous. I heard he’s got weapons of mass destruction and we have evidence. We should probably spend the next 10 years and $10 trillion dollars fighting him and his imaginary army…
We’re going to war, like it or not.
Two reasons why we want to get into a war in Syria despite warnings from Russia and China:
#1. We need a war to keep the war machine going. The politicians and idiot economists fear another recession if the gov’t stops spending trillions on wars and our other wars are coming to a close.
Soon as the entire Syrian government collapses, al qaeda and other extremist groups will move in and Syria will become another Afghanistan, ruled by war lords who all “pose a threat” to America. This will keep us committed to the fight in Syria for a lot longer than it will take to topple Assad.
#2. A war with Syria will force Iran’s hand and Iran will have to either violate a treaty or take up arms to help Assad which means they would be opposing America. Iran has a significant military compared to Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan and this will be all the “evidence” the government will need to escalate the situation from a conflict in Syria to a full on declaration of war against Iran. And Iran has been the ultimate goal since the 1970’s. All that oil, all that land and access into Asia via Iran-Afghanistan.
This will complete the US’s major power-play of creating a “belt” around the globe where they can enter through Europe or Syria or Turkey and have complete access through all the continents. Just look on a map and look at the “Roman Road” the US is building starting from Turkey through Iraq/Armenia/Iran into Afghanistan and from there into Russia or China, if they choose. And on the other side of the Asian landmass, we have Alaska and Hawaii which lead into the Pacific Islands which leads into Korea/Japan and into, once again, Russia and China.
This isn’t about Syria or Iran, individually, just like it wasn’t about Iraq, Afghanistan, Osama, Saddam the Taliban or al Qaeda. It’s about America. It’s about America and total control. Total infrastructure, the new “Roman Roads”, where America can ship drugs, oil, water, military and anything else it needs.
People do realize this Syria bullshit is all a proxy war against Russia…right? Right?
When I called Russia (and China) nearly 1 year ago, most people called me an idiot and said I was crazy because “we trade with them”…
Fast forward a year and we’re in a proxy war with Russia over Syria and Iran and in an escalating conflict with China over currency/trade and African resources.
I think we’re weeks to just a few months from some serious insanity. It’s all going to depend on how the Assad situation plays out. If he gets scared and books it early, it might save us from WWIII. If he says fuck it and goes all out, it’s eventually going to draw in US and Russian forces and that won’t end well.
