It is no secret I don’t like e30’s. Most that know me know the simple reasons why I have come to hate one of BMW’s classics. That being said, there are e30’s I do love and this is a prime example of an e30 I that I find to be excellent. Kyle is an e30 owner that took a step back from the hype and built his e30 for himself in a way that stood out from the sea of bland e30’s. From the very front of the impact bumper all the way to the chopped out spare wheel well it is obvious that Kyle (hamburgerfantasy) built this car for a purpose. Every detail from the Hakosuka-esque external oil cooler to the Back Stabeth sticker was meticulously planned. Kyle’s e30 is quite the looker, but it isn’t just a pretty face. Buried beneath the kidneys and oil cooler is an intercooler and a 2.5 engine freshly built for the snail under the hood by Castro’s customs. Watch closely as this e30 is a prime example of a car being built as an expression of its owner.
