Obama’s campaign team, and democracy on the whole, have finally jumped the shark.

Oh and check out the this equally creepy Putin campaign ad:

At about 5:00 that evening, they heard the hissing sound of a missile and instinctively bent their heads down. The missile slammed into the center of the room, blowing off the ceiling and roof, and shattering all the windows. The immense pressure from the impact cracked the walls of the attached house, as well as those of the neighboring houses. Our research team reviewed photographs that Faheem showed us, which he said showed the destruction to the home. Faheem, who stated that he was approximately ten footsteps away from the center of the hujra, suffered a fractured skull and received shrapnel wounds and burns all over the left side of his body and face. All others in the hujra-at least seven, but as many as 15 people-were killed.

In the moments after the strike, Faheem said he “could not think.” “I felt my brain stopped working and my heart was on fire,” stated Faheem. “My entire body was burning like crazy.” Faheem wanted to splash water on his face, but he could not find any. After a few minutes of confusion, he stumbled out of the gate of his hujra, where neighbors found him. They quickly gathered Faheem into a pickup truck and rushed him to a government hospital in Mir Ali, a ten-minute drive away, according to Faheem. Medics there bandaged his wounds and transferred him to another hospital in Bannu, the closest major city outside FATA, where doctors operated to remove shrapnel from his abdomen and repair damage to his leg, arm, and eyes. Following the surgery, Faheem was transferred to a private hospital in Peshawar, where he remained for at least 23 days. In the end, Faheem lost his left eye, which has since been replaced by an artificial one; he also lost his hearing in one ear as a result of damage to his eardrum. His vision in his right eye is still blurred, requiring ongoing treatment, and he now has only limited mobility.
Faheem’s cousin Ejaz Ahmad, who lives just a few kilometers away, did not attend the gathering in the hujra that evening, and was instead at a friend’s home. He discovered the next morning that his paternal uncle, Khush Dil Khan, in whose hardware store Ejaz worked, died in the strike. “The bodies were completely destroyed,” Ejaz stated. “All we could retrieve was the torso and upwards.”

What it is like to be Hit by a Drone Strike

Obama’s such a great story teller. Too bad his stories are never factual

If he wanted to tell us the truth, he’d add that after Bush put the car in a ditch, Obama didn’t try to push it out.

First he tried to load the gas tank with $100 bills and make the car run on cash. It didn’t work.

So then he tried to get the local mechanic to come down and fix it and made every US citizen pay for it or face a “penalty”. That didn’t work either.

After having a few dozen of his Drones circle around and survey the area, he realize there weren’t enough “military combatants” around and that it was safe to pull off his master plan.

He decided the only “fair” thing to do is cut the car up into a few hundred million “equal” pieces and give every American (that’s donated to his campaign) their “fair share” so everyone in America can have a car.

And when we all got to the top of the world’s tallest mountain (of debt) a magical beast named Government came down and built all of our cars for us!

And then we all lived happily ever after.

How To Not Make It In America
I didn’t throw the pitch and I didn’t invent the game of baseball, but if I put that ball in the upper deck, you can bet the house that I’m going to run myself around the bases and collect my high fives at home plate.
Obama’s idea that we didn’t build our own businesses and we aren’t responsible for our own success is misguided. in his eyes, I’d hit the home run, allow my teammates to run the bases for me, thank the inventors of baseball once the run was scored, and no one would get a point since the opposing team was just as responsible for the score as were I and my teammates.
Look, I acknowledge that all great men stand on the shoulders of giants. No one man invented the world and cultivated it for his own gains. But progress and evolution, those are things that individuals can and should be proud about. Many tell me that the government invented the internet, and sure, to a degree I agree. But government is made of humans. Without government, those same men and women would still be able to develop the internet. To take it further, government didn’t invent the computer or the semi conductor, or silicone or metal or plastic. Government didn’t harness the power of electricity let alone invent it.
To attribute people’s success to government and to say that no one is responsible for their own success is ridiculous. That’s like saying the only reason LeBron James scores 30 points a game is because his teammates pass him the ball. Sure, as if passing the ball to just anyone is a guaranteed basket. As if LeBron didn’t have to work on his craft, as if he didn’t perfect his skills of cutting and slashing and dribbling and shooting.
Government itself does not exist. It owns nothing and can give you nothing which it does not take from others. Government funding stems directly from the people, as does government’s power. Without the private citizens and their wealth, what would government have? Without us granting government power, where would they derive it from? Without the increased success and wealth of private citizens, where would gov’t find its increased revenues?
So, yes, Mr. President, no one exists in a bubble but no, we don’t owe everything to government. The truth lies somewhere in the middle. We are all a part of a giant living organism we call society. We are all cogs, we all function together, we don’t exist in a vacuum. But it’s thanks to those that function the best and perform the hardest that we advance and progress. And it’s thanks to these men and women that we invent new and better ways to do things so other brilliant and hard working men and women down the line can start in a better place and guide us even further into the future.
If it weren’t for the efforts of these individuals, there’s a chance we’d all seize to exist. There’s a chance that without the applied genius of the few, the many would vanish. Slowly or quickly, that’s just the technicality, the truth is we’d either be wiped out from the face of the Earth or live in a primitive society, no more relevant than a blade of grass.
If you begin to belittle the idea of progress and individual achievement and look to shun and even punish, through taxation, the efforts of the few who are capable or willing or both, then you are chopping down the tree of civilization from the roots.

Obama quietly gives himself control of all communication systems in America

Obama quietly gives himself control of all communication systems in America

lost-and-searching-in-america: US President Barack Obama quietly signed his name to an Executive Order on Friday, allowing the White House to control all private communications in the country in the name of national security. President Obama released his latest Executive Order on Friday, July 6, a 2,205-word statement offered as the “Assignment of National Security and Emergency Preparedness Communications Functions.” And although the president chose not to commemorate the signing with much fanfare, the powers he provides to himself and the federal government under the latest order are among the most far-reaching yet of any of his executive decisions. “The Federal Government must have the ability to communicate at all times and under all circumstances to carry out its most critical and time sensitive missions,” the president begins the order. “Survivable, resilient, enduring and effective communications, both domestic and international, are essential to enable the executive branch to communicate within itself and with: the legislative and judicial branches; State, local, territorial and tribal governments; private sector entities; and the public, allies and other nations.” President Obama adds that it is necessary for the government to be able to reach anyone in the country during situations it considers critical, writing, “Such communications must be possible under all circumstances to ensure national security, effectively manage emergencies and improve national resilience.” Later the president explains that such could be done by establishing a “joint industry-Government center that is capable of assisting in the initiation, coordination, restoration and reconstitution of NS/EP [national security and emergency preparedness] communications services or facilities under all conditions of emerging threats, crisis or emergency.” “The views of all levels of government, the private and nonprofit sectors, and the public must inform the development of NS/EP communications policies, programs and capabilities,” he adds.  On the government’s official website for the National Communications Systems, the government explains that that “infrastructure includes wireline, wireless, satellite, cable, and broadcasting, and provides the transport networks that support the Internet and other key information systems,” suggesting that the president has indeed effectively just allowed himself to control the country’s Internet access. In order to allow the White House to reach anyone within the US, the president has put forth a plan to establish a high-level committee calling from agents with the Department of Homeland Security, Pentagon, Federal Communications Commission and other government divisions to ensure that his new executive order can be implemented. In explaining the order, the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) writes that the president has authorized the DHS “the authority to seize private facilities when necessary, effectively shutting down or limiting civilian communications.” In Section 5 of his order, President Obama outlines the specific department and agency responsibilities that will see through his demands. In a few paragraphs, President Obama explains that Executive Committee that will oversee his order must be supplied with “the technical support necessary to develop and maintain plans adequate to provide for the security and protection of NS/EP communications,” and that that same body will be in tasked with dispatching that communiqué “to the Federal Government and State, local, territorial and trial governments,” by means of “commercial, Government and privately owned communications resources.” Later, the president announces that the Department of Homeland Security will be tasked with drafting a plan during the next 60 days to explain how the DHS will command the government’s Emergency Telecommunications Service, as well as other telecom conduits. In order to be able to spread the White House’s message across the country, President Obama also asks for the purchasing of equipment and services that will enable such. Nbd as usual. Why does this not scare more people?

All your communications are belong to Obama.

Executive Orders trump the Constitution, I guess.
