“”Who will build the roads?” is the question that belongs at the top of every libertarian drinking game. If we didn’t have state coercion, the argument runs, there would be no roads. There’d be a Sears store over there, and your house over here, and everyone involved would just be standing there scratching their heads.” - Tom Woods

Tom Woods:  War: Big Government’s Best Friend

This is something every so called small government neo-con should watch.  Supporting the wars is supporting the growth and cause of big government.

I can listen to Tom Woods talk about things all day long.

Tom Woods: Secession Vs. Nullification

This was an excellent video.

One of the great victories of the state, is that the word “Anarchy” terrifies people but, the word “State” does not.

If there’s one thing that I wish I could do for the liberty movement, it’s to rename the theory of anarchy and name it something that masses will easily gravitate to.

That’s why I tell people I’m an AnCap, since most don’t know this phrase and it gives me enough time to explain my position before they judge me on zero basis.

Tom Woods Talks Agorism on FOX Radio

I can’t believe they let this air on a major media network. Amazing.

We’re told that we use government systems — I drive on the roads, I use the post office — and so that means therefore I’ve consented to be expropriated and have the funds used for drone strikes. But here, again, this is a problem. The mere fact that I inescapably use services I have no choice but to use does not indicate consent any more than the fact that may eat a meal in prison indicates my consent to imprisonment … This is a ridiculous argument that’s advanced by people that simply want to wield power. — Tom Woods (via anarchei)

You’d think between the antiwar radicalism of Obama and the laissez faire anarchism of Bush, we’d have a libertarian paradise by now.
